In this case it's assumed
you only drop that potential by using it to create
that reality.
Whether a 'therefore' is supposed to connect the
first claim with the second, I leave to you. If it
doesn't follow logically, it certainly follows
emotionally.
In any case, we know the witness is
biased.
Because she (generically speaking) is a lesbian
cruising for women, with men as her competitors, to
help achieve her singular goal she has no choice but
to claim that men are monsters.
That's also the right gambit to use when other
women are her competitors.
On the other hand, how could any person who
loves women (in fact, fantasy and in idea and ideal)
not come to hate anyone who does women any harm? The
greater the harm, the greater the hate.
But that is an issue of specific cases, not
divisive generalizations--unless your goal (as a
lesbian) is to divide and conquer.
